The Kern High School District has been very busy this past week with major competitions in Mock Trial, Robotics, and Virtual Enterprise. The KHSD also proudly took part in the State Project Lead the Way Conference and the Kindness Challenge, where all campuses encouraged random acts of kindness with special lessons, theme days, inspirational messages, and events. See video highlights of a high energy virtual business competition with 1500 students from across California and five KHSD schools participating in the event at Rabobank Convention Center. Bakersfield High School took top honors in the Business Plan category and will represent California in the International Virtual Enterprise finals in New York City in April.

January 9, 2018, "Founders Day," officially marks the 125th Anniversary of the opening of what is now called Bakersfield High School as well as the official first day of the Kern High School District. Enjoy this celebratory video.

Pick up a copy of Achieve Magazine at any Kern Schools Federal Credit Union or in the Student Activities Offices at our school sites. Achieve Magazine will be produced by KHSD School Support Services three times each year, focusing on the accomplishments of our Fall, Winter, and Spring student athletics and activities.
There is also a digital version of Achieve Magazine that includes video available now online through the Kern High Network.
