Centennial High School proudly unveiled its academic championship banners, representing the achievements of the various academic programs through the decades. The school library was full of passion and pride as advisors and coaches, both past and present, gathered to share the rich history of academic success at Centennial.
Each banner is a testament to the dedication and hard work of students and educators alike. From local to international championship achievements, these banners showcase the various disciplines from AP Calculus, AP Statistics, Forensics, Mock Trial, Robotics, Science Bowl, Capital Markets, Virtual Business, and We The People.
Reaching as far back as 1998, coaches shared fond memories of their students and academic teams' commitment to excellence that has defined Centennial High School’s academic journey through the years. Among all the coaches, they shared the same sentiment that their academic programs are not about winning, but about fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and growth.
“Today for me was a really nice trip down memory lane,” said Ryan Coleman, Principal of Centennial High School. “I started here at Centennial High School in 1996 as a teacher, so I had the opportunity to be able to work with all of these gifted educators. They inspired me as a young teacher and coach of the We The People program.”
The academic championship banners not only preserve the legacy of each program but also inspire current and future generations of students to contribute to the culture of learning and excellence at Centennial.
Congratulations to Centennial High School and the bright academic future it continues to cultivate!
