Around 200 students from 12 high schools participated in the competition consisting of 10 events including Art, Economics, Essay, Interview, Language and Literature, Mathematics, Music, Science, Social Science, and Speech.
A maximum of nine students were represented on each school’s team: three “A” (honor), three “B” (scholastic), and three “C” (varsity) participants. Students in each division competed against one another. The team with the most points took home first place. Individual medals were also awarded to first, second, and third-place finishers in each category and division.

Seventh Place – California City High School
Eighth Place – Highland High School
Arvin and Stockdale high schools received a wildcard invitation to join Frontier High School at the state competition.
